Our History

The Miss Africa Texas Scholarship Pageant is the largest pageant in the State of Texas featuring beautiful "African descent" women. Founded by Mrs. Jennifer Tangyie in 2009, it has since been an exciting experience for young women and their families in the State of Texas to be a part of. A former beauty queen herself, becoming a role model and building up young ladies positively became her platform. We provide scholarships for winners, strive to create confident leaders and build a great self-esteem for all.
