So Saturday night this happened! I competed in the Miss Africa Texas Pageant, and it was an amazing experience! It was very nerve racking as this was my first time competing in a pageant. I had to constantly breakout in dance backstage just to keep my nerves down lol! (Bet You Can't Do It Like Me - DLow was my song! 😂) But I'm glad I did it! I am beyond proud of myself. I was the first queen to walk away with TWO crowns! I won the People's Choice Award AND was crowned Miss Africa Texas 2015 👑. For a little girl to walk up to me and tell me that she wants to be just like me, just lifted my spirit up! Thank you to everyone that helped and encouraged me on this journey. This was a win for my family & friends! Love y'all! |
